Conservation camps

Collaboration is the key to conservation. We work with conservation projects across South East Asia and beyond, to facilitate meaningful volunteer opportunities for those who can’t commit the time or who do not have the necessary technical skills to participate in more conventional volunteer roles.

One of our regular program partners is the Juara Turtle Project, Tioman (Malaysia), where volunteers work within the turtle hatchery, the coral rehabilitation team and other environmental programs over a four or seven day camp. The jam-packed itineraries include ample hands on work and seminars outlining the science that underpins the Juara Turtle Project.

Volunteers must cover their travel and board expenses, although some subsidies are available for those who demonstrate keen interest and have relevant experience — please write to us with your application for a camp subsidy.

We’re “hatching” new projects in the Philippines and Indonesia! Watch this space for updates.
